Minecraft has 126 million players monthly from around the world that enjoy all the different versions and aspects of the game. Recently, Minecraft also added a new game with the same sort of squarish flare everyone loves about the original: Minecraft Dungeons and its upcoming DLC Jungle Awakens. Although more than a decade old, Minecraft fans just can’t get enough.

Kellogg’s announced a Minecraft-themed breakfast cereal in a press release today, the wild, Creeper-green box art splashed across the page. Creeper Crunch will be a cinnamon cereal with green marshmallow Creepers. The cereal is slated to hit US shelves in August, but it has more than a tasty flavor profile that will have fans flocking to the shelves: each box comes with a code for an in-game item that usually requires a microtransaction.
There is a good reason why Minecraft has been inducted into the World Video Game Hall of Fame. With 11 years of great updated and millions of players, not to mention the tons of merch, Minecraft is a gold mine (or a diamond mine?) for all manner of products and gimmicks. Even if no one plans to eat the cinnamon-marshmallow Creepers, the free code may be worth the $4-$6 for the box of cereal.
Minecraft is available for PC, PS4, Switch, Xbox One, and legacy platforms.
