However, it can be rather difficult to start off on the right foot. There are some mistakes that a lot of new players might make while playing, and as such end up causing their game play to falter in a way.

7 Choosing All Missions Willy-Nilly

There are a great many missions for a player to go through within Warhammer 40,000: Chaos Gate - Daemonhunters. However, it is up to the player to decide which missions are worth their time, and which ones are not - and there will be times when players need to decide.

Players can not get to every location within a specific amount of time; as such, they will be forced into making decisions. The player will have to balance many variables, such as rewards, how close to corruption planets are, and so on.

6 Forgetting The Tutorial

A lot of players may choose to skip the tutorial at the beginning of the game, thinking that it is similar to another game and may try to carry that information over into this game. As it turns out, that will especially be unhelpful in Warhammer 40,000: Chaos Gate - Daemonhunters, due to how many things a player will have to deal with.

A player should really take the time to go through the tutorial. It will really help the player to understand some of the more intricate mechanics of the game, and hopefully even be able to pick up on the core game play loop faster.

5 Missing Interactive Objects

There are a lot of things in the game for the player to interact with; some of these can be pretty hard to spot, of course, but there are still things that players should actively look out for. These interactive objects do not really do much in terms of gaining achievements, but they can turn the tides of battle.

A player can use the environment around them to their benefit in combat. This can be things like blowing up a stack of exploding barrels, cleaning off corrupted turrets to be on their side, and so on.

4 Not Knowing How Resilience Works

Luckily, a player will not immediately die the moment one of their party’s health reaches to 0. There is a stat that every character has, called a Resilience stat - the more a character drops to 0 HP, the lower their Resilience goes, until they are permanently dead.

Some players may not understand how Resilience works, due to it not being in the forefront of their mind. However, it would do a player good to learn about Resilience, and to keep an eye on it during battles.

3 Forgetting The Deeds (Even If They’re Optional)

Deeds are optional within the game, but any player of Warhammer 40,000: Chaos Gate - Daemonhunters who knows their salt will also know to never skip them. While a player who is relatively knew to the game might not be able to complete a Deed, anyone later on in the game can (and should) accept.

Essentially, a Deed is a handicap that can appear randomly on missions. A player will be forced to play in a certain way, in exchange for great rewards - there is no downside to declining them, but the rewards they give are great for anyone.

2 Skimping Out On Collecting Bloom Seeds

Bloom Seeds are one of the most important things to collect in Warhammer 40,000: Chaos Gate - Daemonhunters, and a lot of players skip out on it, due to how difficult it is at first to collect them. A player only can only get them in the beginning by killing Seed Carriers - and only with a critical hit.

However, it gets much easier once a player goes in through the game. Players can gain an ability that guarantees a critical hit on certain classes, another type of class can extract seeds without causing damage, and so on.

1 Researching Without Thinking About The Path

As a player progresses through the game, they will learn about the multiple paths that they can take into research, thus developing their characters in their team and making them stronger. However, it is very easy to screw up the player’s research paths.

The research a player uses should only go towards the play style that they want to use. Going for a more generalized style can end up screwing a player over - it is not good to be a jack of all trades and master of none.
